Another sunny day! Quite a singletrack day today up over Leith to the tower. A quick blast to Peaslake via BkB and a coffee in the warming sun. The climb back over Beggar's Lane finished off the legs.

January is here and the papers are full of "getting fit" advice. Articles on what to wear and what are the hippest classes to join. However for the past two night there has been an equal amount about the risks of cycling. Yesterday the Evening Standard centre page feature was about 3 cyclist who had had reconstructive surgery at the newly opened department at London's Royal Free hospital. Tonight it was a helmet survey from research at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington.

Ntb a bit splashy

Warmer than I thought it would be.  :)  A bit splashy and gloopy in small parts, but a nice ride. We met some even older mtb'ers in Peaslake.  :)
